Quentin Nguyen-duy is a multi-hyphenate (literally) actor, playwright, and screenwriter who has been mentioned in Deadline, Hollywood Reporter, TheatreMania, and Boston Globe among others.  As an actor, he is currently filming the recurring role of Ben Jones on “The Hunting Party” (NBC) and has held the role of Officer Tran on seasons 23—27 of “Law and Order: SVU” (NBC) as well as starred in the Series Regular role of Richie Ngo in the unreleased pilot “AZNBBGRL” (Hulu), directed by Dinh Thai.

Other TV appearances include: “The Rookie” (NBC), “SWAT” (CBS), “The Endgame” (NBC), “Bull” (CBS), and stage:  the lead roles of George in “Another Shot” (Signature Theatre NYC) and Quang Nguyen in “Vietgone” (Company One).  

As a writer, Quentin has had two full productions of his plays “Amputees” and “Nerve Endings,” as well as served as a staff writer on the Noteworthy Prize Finalist “desert in” (Medici.TV).  He was made a Signpost Fellow by Chisa Hutchinson in 2023, where he received the awesome mentorship of chris oscar peña for one year.

He studied acting at Interlochen Arts Academy for high school, then went on get his BFA in Theatre Arts from Boston University before attending UCSD’s MFA in Playwriting for one year, where he was one of the two students elected to study under the guidance of Naomi Iizuka and Deborah Stein.

Right now he resides between LA and NYC, where he co-founded and hosts the NYC Viet-American Creative Group @VietSalon.NYC—a community building posse dedicated to bringing together Viet and Viet-Americans from all over the map.
